Interests- Diversity and ecology- particularly in extreme environments.

What role do you play in the BlueGreen team- I am a PhD student. I also do the bulk of the bioinformatic analysis for the lab. Sometimes I write bad jokes on the whiteboard for people to be frustrated by.

Career highlights- I’ll get back to you when I have a job that isn’t tied to a student number.

Research highlights- I currently have samples from the Triassic period sitting on my bench waiting to be played with. Honestly every result or bit of data is a highlight when you are as fresh as I am to the field.

What you love the most about your job– My curiosity feeds my development as a researcher- I’m lucky to be in a position where I can explore the world and still pay rent.

What is it like working with Brett- The BGGM is like a second family… I think I might be their pet in this dynamic.

Other great things you have done in life– I am yet to meet a dog that doesn’t like me.
