UON at 2017 Australasian Coasts and Ports Conference

Five of the UON Coastal Science team went up to Cairns in June to attend and present at the 2017 Australasian Coasts and Ports Conference. Rosey, Caio, Kaya, and Hannah all presented papers on a wide range of topics including atolls, estuaries, tsunami, and breaking waves. Big congratulations to Rosey for winning the inaugural Women in Coastal Geoscience and Engineering Award for best paper led by a female author. Rosey’s paper investigated water levels in two New South Wales coastal lakes.
