VOLUNTEER BUSH REGENERATION TEAM at ASH ISLAND

Expressions of interest invited for Environmental Science / Ecology students for bush regeneration team to work across a diversity of ecological communities on Ash Island, including mangrove, saltmarsh, riparian, floodplain forest and rainforest, as well as Stockton Sandspit’s coastal hind dune. You will:

  • Gain bush regeneration industry standard experience
  • Develop native plant identification skills, propagation knowledge, and field experience
  • Develop practical knowledge of ecological restoration techniques
  • Develop a context and study sites for university projects
  • Contribute to a 22 year restoration project
