International Development Case Studies for Learning and Impact

7 Jul

This workshop may be of interest to our Development Studies graduates working in international development.

Attached is an Expression of Interest flyer for Development Studies scholars who want to learn about how to write up their field and research experience into a case study to be used as a tool for analysis, problem solving and discussion in classes.

A DFAT sponsored Case Study Writing Workshop will be held at the Engineers Without Borders office in Melbourne for international development researchers and practitioners.

As many of you know, case studies are a really effective way of teaching about the complexity of messy on-the-ground development scenarios.

Usually case writing workshops cost about $600 for a two day affair. This workshop is HEAVILY subsidised by DFAT as a collaborative effort between RDI Network and ACFID.

Please consider taking advantage of this one off opportunity to learn a new skill at a very low fee and spend time with other development studies experts.
