Calling all enthusiastic geographers!

You are invited to attend the Geographical Society of New South Wales Gala Dinner to celebrate 90 years since the society’s founding. This will be a great networking opportunity for students and academics alike.

The event will feature keynote speaker the Hon. Linda Burney MP, Shadow Minister for Human Services, Member for Barton and proud member of the Wiradjuri nation. Linda’s commitment to Indigenous issues spans over 30 years. Linda Burney has made history as the first Aboriginal woman to serve in the Australian House of Representatives and NSW Parliament.

Furthermore, you may have seen Linda appear on the ABC program Q&A recently. If you are interested in learning more from Linda and others, it will be an event worth attending! Hope to see you there.
